We understand that now more than ever, carers are under significant pressure and we want to ensure you have access to reliable information that gives clear and effective guidance about how you can manage during this time. Impact on North Lanarkshire Carers Together Services
North Lanarkshire Carers Together is continuing to offer a carer information service, with staff working remotely. The NLCT office is closed to the public and for face to face carer meetings but will be open for telephone enquiries only Monday-Friday 10am-3pm via the normal office number: 01698 404055. In addition to this, our Carer Information and Engagement Team can still be reached via email: enquiries@carerstogether.org or via personal emails which can be obtained from our website www.carerstogether.org

North Lanarkshire Council, Trading Standards Services and Citizen’s Advice are asking residents to be aware of scams. Scams have been reported amid the coronavirus outbreak and have included, misinformation on coronavirus in general, bogus callers asking vulnerable people if they want shopping delivered, offering coronavirus testing and retailers increasing prices for essential items.
