Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire has launched the application process for Carer Breather funding for 2023-2025.
The Carer Breather fund is a Community Solutions funding initiative to support community and voluntary sector organisations in North Lanarkshire provide ongoing breaks and activities for carers.
The Carer Breather model provides a regular and sustainable add-on to the more established annual short breaks that might take the form of a holiday or short trip.
The Fund has been in existence since 2021 and proposals are now sought for the new round of funding covering the next two year period.
Applications are invited for up to £55k for delivery of support over a maximum of 24 months between 1st April 2023 and 31st March 2025.
