The Carers (Scotland) Act requires Scottish Ministers to set timescales for preparing adult carer support plans and young carer statements for carers of people who are terminally ill with a life expectancy of up to 6 months. Informed by research from Marie Curie UK, a survey has been produced to consult and gather views on how to best use the Act to support this group of carers.
