Volunteering at NLCT

North Lanarkshire Carers Together offers a range of volunteering opportunities to support the work of our organisation. This includes helping to prepare carer information packs, attending carer information events and talking to carers about local supports, becoming a carer representative or a member of our Management Board. We are a Volunteer Friendly accredited organisation and we will value, train and support you.

One of our volunteers, Fiona, has volunteered with North Lanarkshire Carers Together for more than two years and has taken part in a range of opportunities including a 6 month volunteering skills course delivered by Community Learning & Development.

Fiona said “I have really enjoyed this course, it’s been good for my personal development and reflecting on my own skills. I have enjoyed working alongside all of the participants of the course and look forward to developing my volunteering role with North Lanarkshire Carers Together”.
